How DreamTabeer creates and reviews its content
DreamTabeer is a reference for how the world's dream traditions interpret symbols. We hold our content to a consistent, transparent standard. This page explains who writes it, the methods we use, how we handle sources, and how to flag an error.
Who writes our content
Content is produced by the DreamTabeer Editorial Team — writers and reviewers working in the classical methodology of Ibn Sirin for Islamic interpretation, and a comparative reading across Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, Jungian-psychological, secular, and folklore traditions. Where a tradition has a named classical source, we describe what that tradition teaches rather than speaking for it.
How we use AI — and what we will not do
We use AI tools to help draft and structure entries efficiently at scale. Every entry is written to our editorial standards: original wording (never copied book text), cautious and non-deterministic language, and respect for each tradition. We do not fabricate scripture citations, verse numbers, page references, or claim that a specific book was searched when it was not. Dream interpretation is presented as symbolic reflection, never as certainty, prophecy, fatwa, medical diagnosis, or guaranteed prediction.
Sourcing & accuracy
Islamic dictionary entries are synthesized in the classical methodology associated with Ibn Sirin. Multi-tradition pages draw on widely documented symbolic readings within each faith and culture. We aim for accuracy and fair representation; interpretation is inherently uncertain, and the same symbol can carry different meanings depending on context, the dreamer's state, and the emotions felt on waking.
Folklore & esoteric content
Our “Magic & Lore” material is presented as folklore, history, and symbolism for reflection and entertainment — never as real, actionable ritual, spell, or summoning instructions.
Corrections
If you find an error or a passage that misrepresents a tradition, tell us and we will review it. Email hello@dreamtabeer.com. We update entries as our understanding improves.
