Classical meaning
This is indicative of glad tidings for the one who sees himself lookingcheerful or taking his book in his right hand or reading it easily, or hesees light or a pleasant fragrance. If he is sick, he will die, because (inhis dream) he went to the realm of truth and death is true, and he willbe one of the people of Paradise. It is also indicative of victory for onewho is wronged, doom for the wrongdoer and relief fr om all hardships, because seeing Allah, is joy and happiness. It is also indicative ofneeds being met by prominent people, because he attained what hewanted in his dream and his fear was dispelled. And it is indicative of therepentance of the evildoer and of embracing Islam for the disbeliever, because of his good situation before Allah. It is indicative of meetingthe one who raised him and cared for him, because Allah takes care ofHis creation and bestows His favour upon them. If he is absent f rom his fath er or master or the one who is in charge of him, he will be reunitedwith him. But if he dreams that his master had changed or he founddarkness or smoke or the light of the sun burnt him or he put his bookin his left hand or his mouth was sealed, then it wi ll be the opposite ofall that.
